There is, there has been, there will always be a certain group of people whom inspiration visits. It’s made up of all those who’ve consciously chosen their calling and do their job with love and imagination.
Wislawa Szymborska

Why do I teach? I believe teaching is my gift, and I choose to answer the call to teach. I acknowledge that middle level young adolescents undergo important changes during the ages of 10 to 15. It is my belief that each student is different and has his/her own individual needs. It is my aim and goal to help students reach their fullest potential. As a teacher, I strive to understand and address the needs of young adolescents, sustain knowledge and arouse student’s learning, and promote and develop respect for all things and all people. Creating and engaging in an environment of safety and trust will enhance student’s learning that gives students opportunity for growth and establish confidence when communicating with others.

In addition, I will develop supportive relationships with students by creating personal and academic energy. It is my belief that every student is capable of expanding their thinking by exploring physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.
